Meet the Team: James Corcoran
CDM-UK’s CEO & Founder is James Corcoran., who established the company in January of 2015. CDM-UK stands for Construction, Design and Management and is representative of the overall idea which James had to create the convenience of having a company which pulls together all trades of construction into one place. The ethos behind this was to have a one stop shop for CDM’s clients for all their construction needs; a full circle service..
James is in charge of the overall direction of CDM-UK. Working alongside Managing Director, Thomas McCorrie, James monitors the business growth along with speaking with clients to maintain CDM-UK’s high standards of customer satisfaction.
James’ history is varied, having started in the scaffold industry nearly 40 years ago as a trainee scaffolder, he went on to work in various major projects throughout the UK.
Moving into management in his early 20’s, he started to gain more of an overall experience of the construction industry due to the diversity of the work that he became involved in. CDM UK Ltd started trading in the spring of 2015 after recognizing the need for a multi trade business within the Construction & the FM services industry that could offer clients a one stop shop in coordinating multiple trades & management on any project no matter the size.
